How It Works

This platform was devised to assist agroecological farmers in expanding their market reach and facilitating greater accessibility to agroecological products for a broader audience in Rwanda.

Each market has their own store on the platform and they manage everything including replenishing the store, adding new products, setting prices and so on. Once an order is pressed, they receive an email and act accordingly.

Here’s how the platform aims to accomplish the above:

• When a buyer visits the platform, particularly those who plan to travel to areas where some of our partnered markets are located (e.g., if you’re heading to Rubavu, you might stop by Bazirete Market).
• Browse through the available products on the platform.
• Contact the vendor to discuss your purchase and arrange a pickup time.
• Visit the market, collect your products, make payment, and continue on your way.
